Double-sided hook and loop fasteners (back-to-back and one-wrap hook and loop fasteners) are fasteners with both a hook and a loop side. As the name suggests, both sides are part of a single product. This makes back-to-back hook and loop fasteners highly suited for tying e.g. cables, walking sticks or gardening tools together. Back-to-back and one-wrap hook and loop fasteners are both double-sided. The products differ in thickness and subsequently in their flexibility. The back-to-back hook and loop fastener is 3.5 mm thick, making it somewhat stiffer than the 1.2 mm one-wrap one. The back-to-back fastener also has the traditional hook and loop sides which hook together really sturdily. The one-wrap material is somewhat softer and so it is more suitable for delicate materials.

The great advantage of double-sided hook and loop fasteners is that the combination of back-to-back hooks and loops is extra sturdy. The double-sided hook and loop fasteners can also be opened and closed again, so they can be used for various different purposes.
