Laminating foil

Do you find it frustrating when your beautiful but unprotected printed material starts to look tatty in no time? This certainly wasn't the plan in distributing and promoting your product. We have the right roll of laminating foil or laminating film in stock to give your photos and printed products that perfect and attractive finish (either matte or glossy), and, most importantly, to protect them.

With our laminating foil you can do one-sided machine lamination. You then apply a layer on one side. This almost "invisible" way of protecting and embellishing is often used for menus, cards, invitations, luxury packaging, photos and book covers. It enables you not only to extend the durability of your photos or printed material, but also create a more luxurious look. Another advantage of laminated printed material is that you may be able to use whiteboard markers on it. Matte laminating films can also be written on with pencil and then erased.

You need to determine the purpose of the lamination before ordering the correct laminating foil, so make sure you're well informed by our sales department. Our laminating foil on roll is intended for machine processing and laminating of your products. Here you can view our selection of laminating foil for the signage and printing industries.

Solutions for Waving, Dullness or Blisters

If you get wavy lamination results or blisters on the laminated printed material, this means it has been processed either with the laminating temperature too high or the conveying speed too low. The laminating film has a melting point of about 150 degrees. If the film (PET) becomes too hot, it will warp. When the glue in the laminating film starts to boil, blisters form. So the solution to this problem is fairly simple: select a lower temperature or higher conveying speed. The laminating films laminate best at a temperature of between 90 and 105 degrees, depending on the thickness of the film and the conveying speed of your machine. Keep in mind that too low a temperature can produce a dull result.
